In June 2015 we moved to the Old Kinsale Brewery in Kinsale. Located in the heart of Kinsale, the Philip Gray Gallery Studio & School of Art makes creative use of an already iconic building. With a fine art gallery on the ground floor and Philip's workshop studio and school of art upstairs, this unique space is a small oasis away from the bustle of everyday Kinsale.
Philip returned from Tulum, Mexico where he spent time painting under water, with scuba, in the cenotes and caves. He painted a series under the water called "Out of Darkness into Light" where he got his inspiration for the new series of paintings he is working on .
Later this month Philip is returning to Mexico for a re-breathing course. This will technically qualify him to spend greater time at greater depths for his planned expedition later this yea which is a world's first into China - interesting times ahead.
