From Great Heights

In my continuing quest to find inspiration from the most unlikely of places, I realised that all my works had been inspired from a "ground" perspective.  Then I looked up into the sky and wondered what if I could paint up there...

So planning started on how to paint, while falling from the sky!  I experimented with designing an easel that could easily be strapped to me while I tandem skydived, and that would allow me to create a painting in pastel in the time it took to reach the ground.  Looking at nature from a completely different viewpoint was so uplifting and for me, put humanity into perspective.  How small we seem on this planet, compared to the power of nature.
